Mountain Light
The light is especially dramatic at the edge of day when the sun is near the horizon in the early morning and evening. Nature and landscape photographers love the light at these times of day because it is soft, not harsh. It is often called sweet light and transmits to images more detail in the shadow and less glare in the highlights. First light or last light brings drama to the photograph.
