Sonoran Desert
The Sonoran Desert is one of the largest and hottest deserts in North America; it straddles the United States-Mexico border. It is the only place in the world where the saguaro cactus grows in the wild. These giants help define Tucson and Arizona; its blossom is the State flower. I've been photographing saguaros for 40 years and I'm still in my saguaro phase.
