Water and rock, common subjects among nature photographers, have frequently provided a theme for me. Water in its many forms (oceans, lakes, ponds and streams) and rock in its many forms (mountains, boulders, stones and pebbles) frequently appear in the same scenes and I can't resist photographing them. Sometimes water and rock are not the principle subjects of the photograph, but provide dramatic backgrounds.
